Map instruction
WE RECOMMEND USING THE ZOOM-IN VERSION TO INTERACT WITH THE PINS! Click on the icon in the upper right-hand corner of the map or the MAP tab at the top of the page to enter the zoom-in version.
Each pin on the map represents a musician and their village. Hovering over the pin automatically plays a clip of one of their songs and produces a small pop-up window. Click anywhere on the pop-up to enter the musician's profile and explore full tracks of the artist accompanied by song information, lyrics, translations and photographs. You can also access the musician profiles through the SINGERS tab found at the top of the page.
Enter the SONGS page to access a search engine where you can sort songs by language and/or genre, as well as search artists and song titles by name.
