Translation:

Suliko's Mourning Song

Who created you, mountain?

You, who stopped my brother's heart

I couldn't bribe this life of mine

Which is filled with tears

O Lord, please don’t break my heart

Don’t make me lose hope

Have mercy on me!

Be swift to cure me!

I don’t want to see the light

With a broken and sad heart

I wish I were surrounded by darkness

And that this was just a bad dream

My heart’s murderer is veiled

I've painted all my thoughts with tears

When will the time come

When I eat my own flesh

O Lord, please don’t break my heart

Don’t make me lose hope

Have mercy on me!

Be swift to cure me!

You Are Like a Bouquet of Roses

Woman, you are like a bouquet of roses

Go, but don’t touch the unfamiliar boys!

Open the door of your heart to love

Hurry and spread out your crystal arms
